MAN 28th November 2012 - Air Blue A340 makes its first visit.

Arriving late evening after a 'slight' delay ...... Air Blue debuted their A340 on the Islamabad - Manchester service, operating the route non-stop for the first time after the type took over from the one stop A319 service. The first flight was carried out by AP-EDF, departing back to Islamabad just before 3am on the 29th.

MAN 26th November 2012 - Ukrainian CRJ850 and an Alitalia 777

A couple of interesting visitors this morning, Ukrainian CRJ850 UR-ICD made a short visit, departing just after 11.00..........


........ While Alitalia 777-200 EI-DBL arrived (in the very dull weather) just after midday for painting at Air Livery.

Early evening saw Air Malta's A319 in the new scheme make a visit.....


Along with Enter Air 737-400 SP-ENK operating a Lapland Charter.

MAN 21st November 2012 - Iberia A319 EC-JAZ

Arriving late evening to take the Real Madrid team home after their Champions League game against Man City, Iberia A319 EC-JAZ was making its first visit to MAN.



Also making its debut was "Sirio" Gulfstream G450 I-DLGH.

MAN 20th November 2012 - Thomson's G-TAWK and Monarch's G-OZBF

Thomson took delivery of brand new 737-800 G-TAWK early morning and it remained parked up on the west apron late evening........... 


..........While Monarch Airlines 1st A321 (G-OZBF) to be painted in the new "yellow tailed" scheme had arrived fresh from the paint-shop at East Midlands during the after noon.

17th to the 19th November - A break in Sharm-el-Sheikh (Egypt)

A couple of days in Sharm-el-Sheikh enabled a few aircraft to be seen in between dips in the pool and relaxing in the sun....... We stayed at the Hilton, Sharks Bay which has a room block with a view of the airport and runway so photos can be taken before the heat haze gets up too much although care has to be taken to avoid the lamp-posts and other obstructions to the view!

MAN 12th November 2012 - G-FDZA, the first Thomson 737 in the "new scheme"

Having arrived fresh from the paint shop at Norwich earlier in the day, Thomson 737-800 G-FDZA now wears the new "Dreamliner Inspired" livery, the first 737 to carry it.

MAN 11th November 2012 - Brazilian Gulfstream PR-OGX and "Fuel Stop" for Condor 767 D-ABUL.

The second exotic Biz-Jet in two days, after yesterdays Malaysian Global this Brazilian Gulfstream G550 PR-OGX was a nice treat arriving mid morning........



....... and Condor 767-300 D-ABUL also arrived on a fuel stop whilst en-route back to Germany from the Caribbean.

MAN 10th November 2012 _ "Air Asia" Global Express 9M-CJG visits.

Arriving mid morning and making its first visit to Manchester, Global Express 9M-CJG is owned by the Air Asia group whose titles and basic livery it wears..........



....... also making its first visit and landing just before the above Global was one of Turkish Airlines newest 737-900's, TC-JYH.

MAN 8th November 2012 - Air Méditerranée 737-500 SX-BHR

Making a very nice change from the usual A320, Air Méditerranée used their 737-500 SX-BHR for the first time in to Manchester with the aircraft arriving in the very early hours and departing again late morning.

MAN 5th November 2012 - Transavia bring in Ajax.

Arriving during the day with the Ajax team for their Champions League match against Man City, Transavia 737-800 PH-HZW was parked up until the early hours of the 7th.

MAN 5th November 2012 - A pair of Monarch Airlines aircraft leave the fleet forever.

Leaving Manchester shortly before dawn this morning, Airbus A300 G-MONR (c/n 540) and Airbus A320 G-MPCD (c/n 0379) both departed for Brussels on lease return prior to being parted out.
Both aircraft have been with Monarch Airlines for their entire careers with the exception of temporary leases to other carriers, G-MONR was delivered in 1989 whilst G-MPCD joined the company back in 1994.

MAN 2nd November 2012 - China Airlines A330 (G-VGEM) arrives for painting.

Arriving mid morning, A330 G-VGEM was wearing full China Airlines (Taiwan) colours minus the pink flowered tail. The aircraft is here for painting in to Virgin Atlantic colours by Air Livery.

MAN 31st October 2012 - National Cargo 747-400F

A nice movement to end the month, only the second National Cargo 747 Freighter to visit us, N919CA arrived mid afternoon carrying an unserviceable engine from the Thomas Cook A330 that was stuck in Keflavik.
