MAN 14th February 2013 - Air Algerie A330 arrives for painting.

Arriving shortly before daybreak Air Algerie A330 7T-VJW arrived for painting at Air Livery, the aircraft wears an overall white scheme with titles which makes it different from the rest of their fleet.
It parked on stand 60 before being towed in to the paintshop.

    Thanks for this nice shot
    As I am Algerian, Aviation Fan, I am wondering how this aircraft will be painted. Air Algerie has currently two different liveries. 10 738 with winglets have their engines in red while 12 738/736 and 3 767 are white and their engines are in grey. The 5 A332 and the 12 ATR72 of the compagny still have the grey on the Belly. Please keep us informed about this place and If you can take a pic after the painting it will be great. Thanks a lot

    Thanks for the comments, At this point in time I have no info on what scheme the 330 will wear when it is rolled out but I will try my best to get and upload a shot when it does!

    still no info on the colours it will wear, we wont know that until it is out of the paint bay but I have heard that it is due out at the start of next week so I will keep a look out.

    How long it takes to paint an aircraft such A330? Is it normal that the plane stay more than 1 week?

    I am wondering if AH will not also upgrade the plane cabin. Is this something Air Livery propose?

    Normally takes around 10 days for a widebody aircraft repaint.
    Air Livery only do painting here at MAN, any cabin re-fit would be done elsewhere.

    to add the flight back will be DAH5609 MAN-ALG and is about to come out very soon ,,apparently next monday or tuesday the latest
