Arriving early morning for a maintenance visit, Angolan Hawker 900XP D2-EAA on short finals for runway 22.


Also present were long term "resident" 125's 5N-QTS and 5N-DGN.

MAN 26th June 2013 - Livingston A320 EI-ERH

Arriving back in the early hours after operating a sub-charter for Thomas Cook, Livingston A320 EI-ERH made a quick turnaround before positioning back to Verona.



MAN 25th June 2013 - Exin Air An.26 SP-FDT

Making its first visit to Manchester early evening, Exin Air Antonov An26 SP-FDT was here to operate a freight charter to Stavanger, it departed in the early hours of the following morning.



It was good to see two of the Antonov family on the ground at the same time!




MAN 25th June 2013 - An225 UR-82060 remains parked for another night.

Due to clearance issues, Antonov 225 UR-82060 was unable to depart as planned and remained parked up for a second night at Manchester.

MAN 24th June 2013 - Antonov An225 UR-82060 overnight.

Having arrived earlier in the day, Antonov An225 UR-82060 was loaded up during the afternoon and early evening and then remained parked overnight.

MAN 24th June 2013 - The world's largest aircraft, the Antonov 225 arrives!

Making only its second visit to Manchester, the worlds largest aircraft, the Russian Antonov 225 UR-82060 arrived on 23 Right early this afternoon. It is due to night-stop and depart tomorrow morning. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very kind for its arrival with thick cloud and poor light, coupled with some noticeable heat haze meaning the photos are not the best! 






Looks like everyone has their camera out today ..... the RVP looking packed behind!



The last time this aircraft visited was seven years ago, back in October 2006 and wearing a different colour scheme, these two photos were taken then.

MAN 18th June 2013 - Kazakhstan A330 rolled out in new colours

Emerging from Air Livery early afternoon, the Kazakhstan Government A330 UP-A3001 now wears a "Comlux" style livery.

EuroAtlantic B777-200 CS-TFM made its first visit to Manchester early this afternoon, operating a delayed Alicante flight for Monarch Airlines.

MAN 14th June 2013 - American Airlines "New Colours" debut at Manchester.

The first sighting of the new American Airlines scheme at Manchester occured this morning when B767-300 N7375A operated the Chicago flight, seen here departing back to the US. slightly behind schedule.




MAN 14th June - Thomson's third "Dreamliner" arrives on delivery!

Arriving late morning on delivery from Boeing, Seattle, The third Thomson 787 "Dreamliner" G-TUIC is seen here about to touch down in the rain on 23 Right.

MAN 12th June 2013 - Kazakhstan Government A330 arrives for Air Livery.

A very rare visit of a Government Airliner today at Manchester, Kazakhstan A330 UP-A3001 arrived early afternoon to go in to the Air Livery hangar.





This brought back memories of the last Kazakhstan Government Airliner to visit MAN, B757-200 P4-NSN seen below which arrived for maintenance with British Airways Engineering on the 18th March 1997.

Arriving on delivery from Dublin early evening, the latest addition to the Monarch Airlines fleet, A320 G-ZBAH taxies on to stand.

MAN 8th June 2013 - Gambia Bird / Germania hybrid and the latest Jet2 737-800.

A319 D-ASTA has had the Gambia Bird titles removed and standard Germania titles added whilst it is operating summer charters from Manchester,


Jet2's latest 737-800 G-GDFV is currently Manchester based and wears this non standard scheme.

8th June 2013 - Recent Manchester Photos

A few more Manchester visitors photographed over the last week or so,

Royal Air Force A330MRTT G-VYGC departed on the 3rd June after maintenance,


Onur Air A321 TC-OBR made its first visit on the 3rd and was wearing 21st Anniversary logos,


Monarch A321 G-OZBZ is a new addition to their fleet,


Lufthansa Cargo MD11F D-ALCC seen departing on the 6th wearing the special "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" logo,


And finally .... having started their new Manchester - Cairo service on the 1st June, B737-800 SU-GDY is seen here making its first visit on the 6th (the first one visiting that I needed!).

MAN 6th June 2013 - Meridian An12 UR-CAJ.

Arriving early evening on its first visit to Manchester, Meridian Aviation Enterprise An12 UR-CAJ was here to pick up an engine to ferry it down to Las Palmas.



Whilst on my short visit, PIA B777-200 AP-BGL made a nice smokey touchdown too!






MAN 6th June 2013 - Avion Express A319 operates for Jet2.

Avion Express A319 LY-VEU arrived early morning and operated three return flights for Jet2, this was its first visit to Manchester wearing their new scheme having been all white without titles the last time it was here.
