 A lovely sunny winter day enabled me to finally catch a decent shot of the new (old) colours Saudia B787-10 as HZ-AR29 arrived on 23R from Jeddah.

MAN 29th October 2023 - Emirates A380 A6-EOE

 A change from the usual A380 type on the morning Dubai service today saw A6-EOE (a low density / Ultra Long Haul fit) departing rather late but looking great in the new colour scheme along with special "Rugby World Cup - France 2023" logos.

MAN 22nd October 2023 - DHL Air B777-F N705GT

 Making its first visit for maintenance at STS, DHL Air B777-F N705GT arrived early afternoon. This aircraft would depart a few days later having been re-registered as G-DHMA.

 Arriving in the sunshine early afternoon, Saudia B787-9 HZ-ARE wears the special "75th Anniversary" scheme.

MAN 13th October 2023 - Avanti Air Dash8-Q400 D-AASG

 Making its first visit to Manchester, Avanti Air Dash8-Q400 D-AASG was arriving from Perpignan with Catalans Dragons Rugby fans for the Cup Final at Old Trafford.

MAN 12th October 2023 - Austrian Airlines A320 "Retro" OE-LBO

Adding a little colour to the day, Austrian Airlines used their "Retro" scheme A320 OE-LBO on the scheduled Vienna service this morning, greeted by blue skies once the early fog had disappeared.

 Making a nice change from the usual B37-800, Egyptair A321 Neo SU-GFR operated the regular Cairo scheduled service today.

MAN 19th September 2023 - HiFly Malta A340-300 9H-TQZ

 Arriving mid morning in some pretty awful weather, HiFly Malta A340-300 9H-TQZ was visiting to take Manchester United over to Germany to play Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

MAN 17th September 2023 - Omni Air International B767-200 N234AX

 Making its first visit to Manchester whilst operating the Air Canada Toronto service, Omni Air International B767-200 N234AX was a nice change from the usual -300 N378AX.

MAN 1st September 2023 - Air Anka A330-300 TC-NYA

 Operating for Pegasus Airlines on their scheduled Istanbul service, Air Anka A330-300 TC-NYA was making the latter airline's Manchester debut. Sadly (as is pretty usual) the sun couldn't hold out for the side on shot!

MAN 14th August 2023 - Danish Air Transport ATR72 OY-RUV

 Arriving on its first visit to MAN on a very dull and wet evening, Danish Air Transport ATR72 OY-RUV was operating an Aberdeen flight for Loganair and wears this special scheme promoting a Danish Handball team.

 Only just catching a bit of sun on final to 23R early afternoon, Egyptair's B737-800 SU-GEH wears this "75th Anniversary" tail scheme.

 Arriving early afternoon from Toronto, Air Transat's A321 Neo C-GOJC wears this "Pride" variation of their tail scheme.

MAN 10th August 2023 - Air Baltic A220-300 YL-ABN

 Air Baltic A220-300 YL-ABN arriving at MAN on a lovely sunny morning operating for Swiss, this aircraft wears the special "Latvia" scheme.

MAN 6th August 2023 - Etihad "Mission Impossible" B787-9 A6-BLO

 Etihad B787-9 A6-BLO departing to Abu Dhabi this morning wearing the special "Mission Impossible" scheme.

MAN 29th July 2023 - Sun Express B737-800 TC-SPE

 Sun Express B737-800 TC-SPE finally made its first appearance since gaining this "Paw Patrol" special scheme on the 29th July, seen here vacating 23R early evening in some pretty awful weather,

and again taxiing for departure an hour and a half later just as the sun was disappearing for the day.

MAN 25th July 2023 - Omni Air International B767-300 N378AX

 Having finally managed to coordinate a day off, some half decent weather and the operating days of the flight - today saw me eventually able to catch Omni Air International B767-300 N378AX that is currently operating the Air Canada service at MAN ..... sadly (inevitably) the sun didn't hold out for the side on shot but at least I got something!!

MAN 10th July 2023 - Turkish A321 TC-JSU

The 10th July saw Turkish Airlines A321 TC-JSU finally making its first visit to MAN since adopting the special "Bio Fuel" scheme way back in April 2022, sadly the usual dull summer weather was here to great it!

MAN 1st July 2023 - Vueling A321 Neo EC-NYD

 Making its first visit to Manchester, Vueling A321 Neo arrived on a very dull and dreary morning, the aircraft wears this special "French Rugby Federation" scheme, sporting the Women's team on the starboard side and the Men's on the port side.

MAN 19th June 2023 - Icelandair Dash8-Q400 TF-FXI

 A very nice type change from the usual 737-MAX on the scheduled Keflavik service, Icelandair Dash8-Q400 TF-FXI on short final for 23R.

MAN 9th June 2023 - Plus Ultra A340-300 EC-NBU

 As far as I am concerned, the only movement of interest amongst a very disappointing Champions League Final "airlift" as thousands of Manchester City fans travel out to Istanbul.

Plus Ultra A340-300 EC-NBU is seen having just landed from Madrid to take a full load over to Turkey a couple of hours later.

MAN 24th May 2023 - Sky Express A321 Neo VP-CUO

 Arriving back at MAN mid-evening following a test flight, Sky Express A321 Neo VP-CUO was delivered to the carrier a few days later following maintenance at STS.

MAN 21st May 2023 - Emirates "Destination Dubai" A380 A6-EOT

 Shortly after the Gulf Air retro arrived, Emirates' great looking "Destination Dubai" A380 A6-EOT landed on 05 in the sunshine, nice to catch this with the updated livery having caught it before with the Dubai Expo titles.

 Finally a chance for a 05 arrival on a sunny morning with Gulf Air's "Retro" B787-9 A9C-FG, looking great as it slows down and vacates the runway.

MAN 13th May 2023 - Jet2 / W2F A330-300 CS-WFP

 Departing early evening, World2Fly / Jet2 hybrid scheme A330-300 CS-WFP looked good in the sunshine as it lifted off 23R

MAN 13th May 2023 - Neos B787-9 EI-NYE

 Just landed on 05R on a sunny afternoon, Neos B787-9 EI-NYE was arriving to operate a sub-charter for TUI the next morning.

MAN 7th May 2023 - Norse Atlantic B787-9 LN-FND

 Seen taxiing for departure early afternoon, Norse Atlantic B787-9 LN-FND was operating a sub-charter for TUI to Cancun. Typically it managed to push back and taxi out just as the sun disappeared behind the clouds!

East Midlands - 18th April 2023

 A morning run out to East Midlands (EMA) to catch the recently painted Global A321 N729AV saw a chance to finally photograph one the Prime Air (ASL) B737-800Fs too along with catching B737-800 OM-JEX of Air Explore which is now leased to Jet2.com for the summer.
