MAN 29th August 2013 - Sun Adria Fk.100 9A-BTE

Making its first visit to Manchester, Sun Adria Fokker 100 9A-BTE was operating a charter during the afternoon.

26th August 2013 - Palma by Thomson ............ No "Dream", just a "Liner"!!

Booked a last minute ticket with Thomson for Manchester to Palma for Monday's early morning departure, down as 787 "Dreamliner" G-TUID,

Sadly fleet "issues" meant a type change on the flight to a 757-200!

Having already booked and paid we decided to go anyway so G-OOBP took us away from MAN just after 06.00 and we arrived at a very wet and dull Palma just after 09.30.

On arrival we headed straight to the ticket desk to get a return flight with Monarch Airlines which was scheduled for departure back to MAN at 12.20.

Having checked in it was back through to departures to await the flight home.

The only aircraft worth photographing in the poor weather was the relatively new Go2Sky 737-400 OM-GTA.

We boarded Monarch's A321 G-OZBP and departed Palma at 12.24, arriving back at MAN at 13.53, With thirteen new numbers in the book it wasn't a complete waste but sad that Thomson let us down with the type change!!

MAN 21st August 2013 - DHL A300F D-AEAD arrives for painting.

DHL A300-600F D-AEAD arrived early morning on its first visit, it was wearing basic JAL colours and will be painted in to the DHL full yellow scheme by Air Livery.

MAN 18th August 2013 - Blue1 717 OH-BLG

Blue1 B717 OH-BLG arrived late evening on its first visit operating the SAS Stockholm service.

MAN 17th August 2013 - Thomson's fourth 787 "Dreamliner" arrives.

Thomson's fourth 787 "Dreamliner" G-TUID arrived early morning on delivery from Seattle.

MAN 7th August 2013 - "Cello" RJ85 G-LENM

Arriving back on a football charter in the early hours, Cello Aviation RJ85 G-LENM is a faiirly new addition to their fleet and is still operating in an all white scheme with very small titles near the door.

MAN 4th August 2013 - Airblue A340 "double"

Airblue had their whole "Long Haul" fleet on the ground here at Manchester at the same time on the evening of the 4th August, AP-EDE had gone tech two days earlier and AP-EDF arrived on the usual evening schedule, they are seen here together in the early hours of the 5th August as EDF prepares for departure back to Islamabad.

Just emerged from painting by Air Livery, A330 UR-WRQ becomes the first of the type in the Windrose Air colours.

MAN 2nd August 2013 - Alitalia A320 EI-DSA

Making its first appearance at MAN today operating one of the summer student charters, Alitalia A320 EI-DSA wears the special "MUOVIAMO CHI MUOVE L'ITALIA" grey scheme which translates to "Who We Move, Move Italy".
