MAN 4th February 2015 - T2 Aviation's Boeing 727 G-OSRB departs after painting.

Departing off 05 around midday, T2 Aviation B727 G-OSRB now sports the full colours of "Oil Spill Response" after painting by Air Livery.

MAN 30th January 2015 - Icelandair's "Aurora Borealis" 757 in the sun!

After a couple of days of poor weather the cloud blew away just in time for the superb looking Icelandair "Aurora Borealis" B757-200 TF-FIU arriving two hours late on runway 23R.

The "Aurora" pushed back for departure in a brief sunny spell too!

Also seen on the brief visit to the car park was Germania A319 D-ASTB taxiing for departure, still wearing the Gambia Bird colour scheme.

MAN 26th January 2015 - Titan A320 G-POWK after painting.

Titan A320 G-POWK was rolled out of Air Livery this evening wearing their new colours, it later departed to Stansted.

Also parked up for the night was American Airlines B757-200 N186AN (in new colours) whose departure was cancelled earlier due to the snow storms in the Eastern USA.

Making the first visit of an Etihad B777-200LR at Manchester, A6-LRA arrived during the evening to take the Manchester City football team out to Abu Dhabi.

Making a nice change to the usual A330 on the afternoon EY021, Etihad A340-600 A6-EHJ wears the "Formula One" livery ..... typical Manchester weather greeted it on arrival!

Making its first visit to MAN since being repainted only two days ago, Swiss A320 HB-IJM is their first "mainline" narrow body aircraft to wear the Star Alliance colours.

Making its first visit to Manchester since being painted in the "Borussia Dortmund" colours, Turkish A321 TC-JSJ is seen taxiing to stand on arrival in pretty awful weather.

MAN 8th December 2014 - Cathay Pacific launch new direct Manchester - Hong Kong route

Today saw Cathay Pacific return to Manchester with a passenger service after an absence of several years, the new 4 x per week B777 flights operate Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

B777-300ER B-KQO operated the inaugural service, sadly departing under typical dull Manchester skies!
