Making its second visit in this great looking "Retro" colour scheme, Turkish Airlines A330-200 TC-JNC was operating the afternoon Istanbul flight, sadly the poor light (and heat haze) were not very helpful!!

MAN 3rd April 2016 - Austrian's first Emb.195 to visit MAN

Another airline debuting their latest aircraft type at Manchester this morning, Austrian Airlines used Embraer Emb.195 OE-LWA on their Vienna service.

MAN 3rd April 2016 - Saudia's first B787-9 Dreamliner to visit the UK

Having arrived in the morning mist and murk it was nice to see the sun shining as Saudia's first B787-9 to visit Manchester (and the UK), HZ-ARC taxied for departure at noon. The airline has now changed to the type on its MAN services.

Making its first visit since being painted in the Barcelona Football Club special colours, Qatar Airways B777-300 A7-BAE operated the early afternoon Doha flight.

Having arrived earlier in the day on iots first visit to Manchester, Titan Airways first A321 G-POWN has been leased to Jet2 for the summer season and wears an all white scheme with Jet2.com titles.

MAN 28th March 2016 - A380 diversions!

Manchester played host to a trio of first visiting A380's this morning .... and not one of them was an Emirates!

British Airways G-XLEC, Malaysia Airlines 9M-MNF and Singapore Airlines 9V-SKI (in their "Singapore 50" special scheme) were just three of many diversions from Heathrow and Gatwick due to high winds caused by "Storm Katie".

Making its first visit to Manchester due to Warton being closed for the Easter weekend, Bae.146-200QF G-OTIF is a recent addition to the British register and still shows it former TNT identity.

MAN 21st March 2016 - Wamos Air B747-400 EC-KQC

Wamos Air operated an inbound flight for Thomas Cook today using B747-400 EC-KQC which was wearing the full colour scheme, unlike the all white example a few weeks back!
