MAN 10th August 2018 - Sultan of Johor BBJ 9M-III

Making a very welcome first visit to Manchester albeit on a very dull and wet day, the Sultan of Johor's Boeing 737-800 BBJ 9M-III is seen here landing and taxiing in past the Viewing Park early afternoon.

MAN 14th July 2018 - Emirates "Zayed" A380 A6-EUV

Operating the morning Dubai service in the sunshine, Emirates A380 A6-EUV is their 100th  A380 and also wears the "Year of Zayed 2018" titles and logos.

 



MAN 13th July 2018 - Icelandair B757-300 TF-ISX

Making its first visit to Manchester, Icelandair's newly acquired B757-300 TF-ISX wears a special "Icelandic Flag" scheme.

 



East Midlands - 27th June 2018

An evening visit to allow us to catch the relatively new West Atlantic B737-800 Freighter saw the following movements over a couple of hours in the sunshine.

 

 

The reason for the visit, the world's first Boeing 737-800 Freighter, West Atlantic's G-NPTA wearing special tail titles to commemorate the fact!

 

A nice treat to catch the "Year of Zayed" special Etihad Cargo B777-200F A6-DDE



Birmingham 27th June 2018

A quick stop at Birmingham mid afternoon (whilst en-route to East Midlands) to catch a sight of the Air Austral B787-8 F-OLRC allowed the following few interesting movements to be seen,

Making another visit, this time in the morning sunshine ...

Lufthansa's new colours "Fanhansa" special A321 D-AISQ is seen here taxiing to stand.

MAN 19th June 2018 - Emirates "PSG Special" A380 A6-EUB

Arriving on the evening Dubai service, Emirates A380 A6-EUB wears this special scheme supporting the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) football team, the briefest little sunflash at the right time helped with the shot!

MAN 19th June 2018 - Air Malta A320 Neo 9H-NEO

Making its first visit to Manchester this morning, Air Malta A320 Neo, appropriately registered 9H-NEO, wears a special scheme for the Nickelodeon TV network.

MAN 17th June 2018 - Fanhansa A321 D-AISQ and Turkish "Star Alliance" A330 TC-LNB

Making it's first visit with the new Fanhansa titles, A321 D-AISQ arrived late afternoon,

This was followed shortly afterwards by Turkish Airlines A330-200 TC-LNB departing after its first visit to Manchester, this a/c also wears the Star Alliance livery.

MAN 9th June 2018 - British Airways Saab 200 G-CDKA

A very rare visit of the British Airways liveried Saab 2000 G-CDKA came about today when it operated an Eastern Airways charter from the Isle of Man, sadly the thick cloud had set in by the time it arrived late afternoon but still great to finally catch!
