7th to the 22nd September 2019

US West Coast Holiday

Having visited Florida and the Eastern US many times before we finally decided to head out West and booked a multi city holiday visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tucson, Phoenix and Las Vegas!

It was a "family holiday" but of course with so many new airports and aircraft storage areas along the route a little bit of spotting came in to it!!

Prague 6th February 2020

Another work related visit to Prague in February allowed the following to be snapped whilst waiting for departure back to MAN on the 6th,

Sun D'or B737-800 4X-EKR operating for El Al

Sky Up B737-800 UR-SQH was a nice surprise and caught a very very brief sunny patch!

Definitely catch of the trip for me though was SCAT B737-700 UP-B3725.

Prague 5th & 6th December 2019

An overnight work related visit to Prague on the 5th & 6th December 2019 allowed me to grab a few photos while arriving and departing, 

Arrival on the morning of the 5th was just in time to catch the CSA B737-800 OK-TST taxiing for departure!

Whilst passing the fence by the maintenance area early the next morning I got a view of five of the six parked Smart Wings B737-8MAX aicraft, this rushed shot was from a moving car!

Once checked in for departure a little time airside saw the following from the windows.

MAN 20th March 2020 - Ethiopian Airlines B777-300 ET-APY

Our second Ethiopian Airlines B777-300 in as many days and this one coincided with sunshine AND a day off for me!

ET-APY landing on 05L early morning,

A few added bonuses on our visit, 

Aer Lingus A320 EI-CVB wears the newest scheme,

Jet2's new Airbus A321 G-HLYF was going up for another crew training flight,

And my first opportunity to catch one of the newer Aurigny ATR72's in the latest scheme!

MAN 17th March 2020 - Aegean A320Neo SX-NEB

Making its second visit to MAN, one of Aegean's new A320 Neos SX-NEB seen vacating 23R, I felt I had to make some effort to catch it even with the poor light, who knows when they will return in the current climate!!

Later the same day a return visit was made to RVP to catch the Biman B787-9 in daylight, S2-AJY

and a bonus catch of my first SAS aircraft in the new scheme, A320 Neo SE-ROI.

MAN 7th February 2020 - Czech Air Force A319CJ 2801

A lovely sunny morning greeted the first visit of a Czech Air Force A319CJ to MAN, 2801 arrived on 23R 

followed shortly afterwards by the first Easyjet A320 to wear the new Easyjet Holidays scheme (G-EZOA) 

and a bonus of the Icelandair  80th Anniversary scheme B757-200 (TF-FIR)

MAN 25th January 2020 - Etihad "Greenliner" A6-BMH

Departing a dull and damp Manchester morning on its first visit, Etihad's latest B787-10 A6-BMH wears this superb "Greeliner" scheme.

MAN 4th December 2019 - Etihad "Man City" Dreamliner A6-BND

Finally getting the chance to get Etihad's Manchester City Dreamliner A6-BND in the sun on a cloudless day, an early afternoon arrival on 23R at MAN.
