MAN 9th September 2020 - Virgin Atlantic A350-1000 G-VDOT

 Making the first visit of a Virgin Atlantic A.350 to Manchester, G-VDOT arrived early afternoon on delivery from Toulouse having been stored there for a couple of years. The aircraft is here for temporary storage until required for service.

MAN 9th September 2020 - Etihad "Choose China" B787-9 A6-BLF

 Arriving just before midday with a lucky patch of sunshine, another of the Etihad specials ticked off the list with A6-BLF wearing the "Choose China" colours.

MAN 1st September 2020 - Royal Air Force A330 ZZ336

 Making its first visit to Manchester since acquiring the new scheme (nicknamed as Boris Force One), Royal Air Force A330 MRTT ZZ336 is seen here landing on 23 Right in the evening sunshine.

MAN 1st September 2020 - Pegasus A321 Neo & Blue Islands ATR72

 Two new visitors landing one after the other, a rare occurrence these days!

Pegasus Airlines used one of their new A321 Neos for the first time in the shape of TC-RBB whilst Blue Islands commenced a new Exeter service with ATR72 G-ISLL

East Midlands 24th August 2020 - La Compagnie A321 Neo F-HBUZ

 Arriving late morning all the way from Perth (via Colombo & Dubai), La Compagnie A321 Neo F-HBUZ was carrying the Australian international Cricket Squad. 

A little bonus during my visit, a rare middle of the day (and sunny) movement of a West Atlantic B737-400 Freighter arriving back after a test flight.

MAN 15th August 2020 - HiFly Malta A330 9H-TAJ

 Arriving on 05 Left on a dull evening whist operating for PIA Pakistan International, nice to catch a HiFly aircraft here with some colour on it!

MAN 1st August 2020 - Etihad "Choose Thailand" B787-9 A6-BLJ

Now that Etihad have restarted ops to Manchester with their B787-9's we have the chance once again to see a few of their special schemed Dreamliners, today was the turn of A6-BLJ in the "Choose Thailand" colours with a bonus few seconds of sunshine as it was about to land on 23R.

 

London Heathrow 31st July 2020

 A day out in the sun at London Heathrow to catch up on a few new subjects including the rare Friday only Rwandair A330 service, my time was spent on the Terminal 5 mound as they were landing on runway 09 Left, I was quite happy with my haul although the last thing of any interest turned out to be the Czech A320 just after 1.30pm so I was on my way home shortly after that!

First good movement for me was the morning LOT Polish Airlines Embraer which was operated by SP-LNN which still wears the colours of previous operator AZUL of Brazil.

British Airways' new B787-10 G-ZBLA arrived in much better light than on my last visit!

My main target for the trip out, Rwandair A330-300 9XR-WP arriving just after 9am.

Sadly Etihad's cargo service this morning was operated by the all white B777-200F A6-DDF

Virgin Atlantic & British Airways A350-100's G-VJAM and G-XWBB arrived one after the other.

Nice to catch an Aegean A320 Neo (in their new scheme) in the sunny weather.

My first sighting of a Vietnam Airlines B787-10 as VN-A879 arrived just after midday.

My first Egyptair B787-9 with SU-GEV ......

....... and last but by no means least, CSA Czech Airlines' newest addition to their fleet, A320 OK-HEU sports the revised tail colours.

MAN 30th July 2020 - Air Transat A321 Neo C-GOIJ

 Arriving on 23R on a cloudy but bright morning, Air Transat A321 Neo was the second of their type to visit Manchester after the restart of their services post-Covid shutdown.

MAN 13th July 2020 - Serbian Government Emb.135 Legacy YU-SRB

 Making its first visit, Republic of Serbia Emb.135 Legacy YU-SRB landed on 23R mid-afternoon on a typically grey Manchester day!
