 Operating the second flight of their new 2 x per week Keflavik service, Play A320 Neo TF-PPA arrives on runway 27 in the sunshine.

MAN 24th September 2022 - Freebird A320 TC-FHK

 Arriving on its first visit to Manchester in the morning sunshine, Freebird A320 TC-FHK wears the dark green tail colours.

MAN 19th September 2022 - Juneyao Airlines B787-9 B-20D1

 Operating a one off Student Charter from Shanghai arriving late afternoon, Juneyao Airlines B787-9 B-20D1 landed on 05R. Hopefully we will see more of this airline in the future!

Birmingham 19th September 2022 - State of Kuwait A340-500 9K-GBB

 A quick run down to Birmingham to catch a star visitor, State of Kuwait A340-500 9K-GBB which was present for a couple of days for parking. The government airliner departed on time early afternoon, positioning over to Gatwick.

Private B757-200 N770BB arrived from Stansted,

Weststar B767-200 2-TSSA was also present for parking.

 Making a return visit to collect the Borussia Dortmund team after their Champions League match against Man City, Eurowings A320 D-AEWM wears this special scheme for the German football side.

MAN 15th September 2022 - Qatar Amiri B747-800(BBJ) A7-HBJ

 Having arrived very late the previous evening, Qatar Amiri B747-800(BBJ) A7-HBJ remains parked up on stand 61. It is apparently here for parking during the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II due to space restrictions at Stansted. This is the first B747-800(BBJ) to land in Manchester and becomes the largest Biz Jet to visit us.

 Arriving on 23R early evening, Boeing Company (in Vietnam Airlines colours) B787-10 N8290V is currently Manchester based while operating test flights in the UK.

MAN 13th September 2022 - Eurowings "Dortmund" A320 D-AEWM

 Vacating 05R and taxiing in on arrival, A320 D-AEWM was making its first visit since being painted in the special BVB FANAIRBUS scheme. It was arriving with the Borussia Dortmund team in connection with their Champions League game against Man City.
