MAN 31st March 2012 - Corsair 747-400 F-HLOV operates for Monarch

Arriving mid morning from Paris, Corsair 747-400 F-HLOV was positioning in to operate to Sharm-el-Sheikh on behalf of Monarch Airlines.



MAN 30th April 2012 - Colour scheme of the year award goes to..........

After days of endless sunshine here at MAN we had our first cloudy day... and of course that is when the Aerosur 747, G-VROM, finally turns up for painting at Air Livery!!

Definitely the award for the colour scheme of the year at MAN.... so far !!

MAN 29th March 2012 - FedEx's N903FD makes its first visit.

Another day and another first visiting FedEx 757F, N903FD arrived before dawn and was parked up for the day on stand 69.



MAN - 28th March 2012 - 737-800 CN-RPE departs after painting.

Now wearing the full Jetairfly / Tui colours, having been repainted from the green Jet4you colours by Air Livery, 737-800 CN-RPE waited until the sun had set before pushing back for departure late evening!

MAN 28th March 2012 - FedEx 757 N922FD arrives early morning.

After a changeover in Paris, FedEx 757 Freighter N922FD made its first visit this morning just before dawn and will be parked up until departure this evening.

MAN 27th March 2012 - Jet2's G-GDFJ makes its first visit.

The newest 737-800 in the Jet2 fleet, G-GDFJ arrived at MAN for the first time this afternoon and overnighted on the west apron.



MAN 26th March 2012 - Night time Etihad and FedEx departures

The Etihad "Visit Abu Dhabi" special  A6-AFA departed late evening and looking just as good in the dark as in the sunshine...........

..........and shortly after, the first FedEx 757F departure took place with N916FD getting ready to taxi for its flight to Birmingham and Paris.

MAN 26th March 2012 - Etihad's "Visit Abu Dhabi" special makes its first visit !!

Arriving just after 3pm on its first visit to MAN, the superbly coloured "Visit Abu Dhabi" A330-300 A6-AFA ...... just a shame that the new perimiter fence spoils the photos from the Runway Viewing Park as aircraft taxi in after landing !!

And also making its first visit was a full colours Brussels Airlines Dash8-400, G-ECOI.

MAN 26th March 2012 - Lufthansa Cargo "Special" D-ALCC

The "100 Years of Air Cargo" special schemed Lufthansa MD11F D-ALCC passed through in the very early hours on their regular freight flight.

MAN 25th March 2012 - Jazz 757 C-GJZK and Denim Air Fk50 PH-KXX

Thomas Cook / Jazz Air 757-200 C-GJZK passed through late night on its way back from Canada after lease and onwards to Abu Dhabi for maintenance.............

....... and Denim Air Fokker 50 PH-KXX was parked up for the night after arriving during the evening on a charter, unfortunately the scheme was very basic and lacked any titles.
