Hawarden 28th November 2013 - Airbus A350-900 UK debut

Making its first appearance over the UK, A350-900 F-WZGG (C/n 003) flew approaches at Cardiff, Filton and Hawarden. Sadly the weather was typical grey skies so the photos were rather poor!!

Airbus A300-600ST "Beluga" F-GSTA arrived just minutes before the A350.

  1. Great catch nik, will the A350 do a demonstration landing at MAN like the 787 or will we have to wait until an airline decides to send it

  2. I wouldn't imagine that the A350 will do a demo flight to MAN really .... the 787 visit was just to show it off to Thomson who had ordered the type. No UK carrier affiliated with MAN has ordered this type.

  4. BA ??? No chance .... I am guessing you haven't noticed that BA used to serve many places from Manchester and over the years have withdrawn every single service except London Heathrow!

  5. I did here that Cathay pacific will be launching passenger flights from MAN with the A350 in 2015 or 2017
